Managing Director of redserve
Christian Grottenthaler joined the senior management team of redserve in June 2020. One of the economist’s responsibilities is to head the company’s specialist design and construction management activities. “The aim of DCM is to increase the benefits to clients of our cooperation with the ATP Group even further; by, for instance, reducing the potential for waste and working in an even more efficient partnership,” says the new Managing Director.
Christian Grottenthaler has extensive expertise and experience in project consulting and in the strategic development of specialist areas. He has been able to apply this know-how successfully to many public sector projects.
Before joining the management of redserve, Christian Grottenthaler worked for eleven years for WSR Energie- und Baumanagement GmbH; initially in project consulting, later as head of the construction engineering department and, from 2017, as an authorised representative. His role in these functions included the analysis, development, and accompaniment of public sector construction projects and the related implementation and realization of holistic development models. His reference projects include childcare and educational buildings, events and sports centres and public administration facilities.
Throughout his career he has remained true to his motto of “standing still is a step backwards”. This is also demonstrated by his constant drive to learn and develop further: After training as an electrician/electrical fitter Christian Grottenthaler completed the technical vocational school and studied international marketing and exporting. He continued his education by studying business at Johannes Kepler University in Linz, where he specialized in auditing, corporate financial management, strategic management, and marketing. He has numerous additional professional qualifications in such areas as law, conflict management, and team building and has taken part in management seminars.
